Rig cooling systems, particularly for offshore well test, protect personnel and equipment from extreme radiant heat (up to 70% reduction) using specialized, high-volume, parabolic water-screen nozzles. These systems, such as Aqua shield and RigDeluge®, work by creating a water barrier for heat suppression, covering flare booms, and ensuring platform safety.
