Well Intervention

Restoring, sustaining and increasing production.

Well intervention operations are remedial or maintenance procedures performed on producing oil and gas wells to restore, sustain, or increase production.

Operators initiate interventions to manage aging reservoirs and optimize production flow. Common drivers include:

  • Production Decline: Mitigating decreased flow caused by the buildup of solids like paraffin wax, asphaltenes, or scale.
  • Mechanical Failures: Addressing malfunctioning gas lift valves, damaged electrical submersible pumps (ESPs), or tubing leaks.
  • Reservoir Management: Accessing new pay zones, isolating zones with high water cut, or performing hydraulic fracturing to stimulate production.

DUB-1 Oil Integrated Services Limited have acquired a Hydraulic workover unit (HWU) needed for workover operations. We have done series of well intervention jobs along with our partner, Kenyon International West Africa Limited on wells such as Akoso 04, 08, 13, 17 and Alakri 25 etc.
